L'Interdit de Guffens' Blanc

£20.00

Colourful Burgundian winemaking legend Jean-Marie Guffens is world-renowned for his Mâcon. But this, his 'L'Interdit' ('forbidden') wine is so-named as it is grown within the Luberon appellation but as a Chardonnay, thus it can only be labelled as a humble Vin de France. Burgundian in style, it has vibrant aromas of jasmine and orange blossom leading to pillowy stone-fruit flavours plus vanilla, a kiss of oak and a whisper of savoury miso – all kept in line by refreshing acidity.
